Gentry Dental
A Great Dentist

Dr. Heather Gentry

Dr. Gentry is originally from Alabama and attended undergrad there, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Special Honors in Biology in 2001. She was then accepted into the University of Alabama School of Dentistry, graduating in 2005 with honors.

With over 20 years of experience in the field, Dr. Gentry has a comprehensive background in dentistry. She has held almost every position in the industry- from receptionist, assistant, associate dentist, and now, as the owner of her practice. It's this experience that has led her to develop her own practice philosophy, which is to treat every patient as one would treat their family- with dignity, respect, kindness, and compassion.

Dr. Gentry and her staff, most of whom have been with the practice for years, strive to provide the best dental experience possible. They pride themselves on getting to know their patients on a personal level, and they take all the time necessary to explain treatment procedures and to answer any questions so that their patients feel both comfortable and informed. This is how she's built her reputation over the years for providing the highest quality dental care, and it's also why she was voted "Best Dentist in Charlotte."

You'll also notice that Dr. Gentry strives to provide the most current procedures available, and for this reason, she has invested in state-of-the-art dental technology. She also continues to take hundreds of hours of continuing education, in and out of the country, in order to best serve her patients.

Dr. Gentry moved to Charlotte in 2008 and considers the Queen City her home. She and her fiancee purchased a house just minutes from the practice in Barclay Downs, and reside there with their ever-changing number of rescue dogs. Besides her passion for dentistry, her main interests are dog rescue, interior decorating, and yoga.
